‘Withnail & I’ (Bruce Robinson, 1987)
This is hard to beat. As a big fan of the Lake District and British black comedy, it was always going to be a favourite. It also has some of the most quotable lines ever. "I’ve only had a few ales!" is a line that never gets old.
