Meet The Team behind Eight Engines

The captain of the ship, our leader, ‘The Big Cheese’. Just a few of the grandiose names that Jack, our Managing & Creative Director, insists the team call him.

Rupert is a serial hobbyist. Golf, guitar, tennis, origami, sailing. You name it, he’s tried it, with varying levels of success. One challenge he’s yet to master is taming his cat, fittingly named Zoro.

Josh is a lot like the BFG. He’s big, he’s kind, and he’s really rather smart. Which makes him perfectly suited to tackling the many challenges that come with being Head of Visuals at Eight Engines.

Jazz singing, shrieks of laughter and the occasional Shakespeare verse. Just a few of the sounds you’re likely to hear at Eight Engines HQ, thanks to our resident thespian, Maretha.

Aptly titled ‘Creative’, when Scott’s not creating films for brands you’ll probably find him drawing, writing songs or making short films of his own.

If there’s one thing that’s certain, it’s that Ewa will never turn down a latte. But it’s not just caffeine that fuels her in the edit suite - it’s a love for creating great films.

Max may be the youngest member of the Eight Engines team, but you’d swear he was the oldest. Old records, classic films and the finest booze Didsbury has to offer are very much his thing.
