Sarah Ellis, Head of Digital Development
Royal Shakespeare Company

“We have had a great working relationship with Eight Engines for many years, they are consummate, professional, always a pleasure to deal with and their work is of a fantastic quality.

They work brilliantly with a range of stakeholders and always ensure quality is at the heart of the work they deliver. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.”

Matthew Todd, Managing Director
Harlequin Agency

“Eight Engines Ltd has been a client of two companies under my auspices, Harlequin Agency Ltd and Our Music Story Ltd. The company has worked on several projects across both these organisations, including opera star Sir Bryn Terfel’s 50th birthday concert and War Horse: The Story in Concert (both at the Royal Albert Hall) and concert productions of Tosca and Falstaff in Llangollen and Liverpool respectively.

On each occasion, Eight Engines has provided an exemplary service, delivering high quality visual content and industry-leading technical support – always on schedule and with a thoughtful, collaborative and pro-active approach that is focused on producing material to the best possible standards.

Future work with Eight Engines is already planned and I would highly recommend the company to anyone interested in its services.”

Charley Tysler, Brand Manager
Help for Heroes

“Eight Engines worked with us on our ‘Seven Lives’ campaign, the objective of which was to raise awareness around the relevance of Help for Heroes – and it did just that!

We presented the team with a difficult and ever-changing brief but this did not phase them at all. Eight Engines were incredibly flexible to our changing needs and worked proactively with us to help us achieve our goals. A complex project, the team worked tirelessly to film 7 individuals across 7 different locations, in order to produce 33 different films in a variety of aspect ratios in a very short space of time. We cannot thank them or praise them highly enough for their work.

The films that Eight Engines produced met and exceeded the brief that we presented them with especially in terms of content and storytelling. A huge factor in achieving this was the rapport that the entire team were able to build with our 7 subjects. We were asking our individuals to talk about some incredibly personal experiences and Eight Engines were compassionate, empathetic and considered in their approach to extracting the information which meant we were able to get the content that was needed to make such a spectacular suite of films.

Throughout the project the Eight Engines team were very responsive to all communications and kept us incredibly well informed of progress. They made what was a challenging project easy to achieve and I would highly recommend them – we look forward to working with them again in the future.”

Rachel Brogan, Managing Director
The Television Workshop Salford

“The Television Workshop is a charity and unique theatre and film linked training initiative with talent over the ability to pay as our driving ethos. We work with 70, 6 - 21 year olds on a weekly basis in Salford training them in performance for both stage and screen. Each year we create and host an industry Film Festival at MediaCityUK and this year we had the absolute pleasure of a collaboration with the wonderful EightEngines.

Both Jack and Tim are lovely! They are consummate professionals with a huge wealth of industry knowledge but most importantly they are really nice guys! They gave so much time and effort to our project, ‘The Open Door’ starring Joe Gill and introducing McKenzie Clarke. From the idea’s conception through to post and then the screening of the Festival itself, not once were we afraid to approach the guys with changes to our script, they role with the changes and are supportive along every step of the way.

They were magic with our young people, taking the time to explain the process and granting some of our over 18s their first professional IMBD credit, behind the scenes. It has been a joy to work with both Jack and Tim, we have already agreed to collaborate again this year. Their positivity and proactivity excites us as to what we will collectively create next! Thank you guys, loved it!”
